I purchased this battery chainsaw after having used gas chainsaws for 40 years and it works great so far. It is much lighter and easier to use when cutting branches from a ladder. The 60V battery still has plenty of charge left after completing a fair amount of cutting.

Cuts a lot of firewood

This saw is fantastic, I’ve owned a lot of gas powered saws & have always ended up having to struggle to start them especially in the cold weather. This saw no problem I just add bar oil if needed, install the battery, push the start button & off we go. No more pulling my arm out of its socket. Good for about 4 hours then if I need to go longer I just put in my other battery & put this one in the charger & carry on. In less then an hour the original battery will be fully charged.

I have had the chainsaw for 1 month and have been using it most weekends to clear cider trees. So far it has worked great with no problems. Cleaning and tightening the chain is easy. I also like the safety feature of locking the chainsaw with the hand guard.

I’ve always enjoyed electric powered tools. The challenge with yard tools, of course, is the cord. I don’t normally need a chainsaw while in East reach off a power outlet, so this has been the perfect tool for many jobs. I like the power of the 60v and the longevity of the 4-5Ah batteries. I can run a battery down, clean what I’ve cut while recharging, and go again with a full battery, if need be.

We got this tool to clear some maple trees that had fallen over onto our fences.
Added oil and tightened the chain and it did not cut as expected. After a moment we realized the chain was pre-installed backwards. Flipped it around out in the yard in the snow. Cut about 10 trees varying from 3 to 12" diameter into 2 foot lengths. No issues at all. Worked great. Had about 50% battery left afterwards. Light and easy to use. Excellent product!
