So far so good, but haven't put it to a major test yet. But great at trimming small branches in the yard, and cutting up larger branches that have fallen in storms.

Nice alternative to gas

Love having a chainsaw that does not idle. Much less noise, the bar oil seems to last longer and a charge lasts 15-20 minutes of constant use. Love it!

I bought this chainsaw to remove a few trees on my property and am extremely glad that I did! This chainsaw is very easy to use, responsive, easy to adjust, and smooth. I wore hearing protection anyway, but it is so quiet that my wife didn't know that I had fell'd and bucked 3 trees right outside the house! Plenty of power, sharp chain right out of the box, just a pleasure to use and made my life a whole lot easier than taking days and days to get the same amount of work done! Definitely buy!

The chain dulls quickly compared to replacements I have bought. Impossible to get a 5.0 battery which is really the minimum you will need to get any real use from this tool.

JUST GOT IT. CUT LIKE HOT KNIFE THRU BUTTER. I CAN SAY 1 THING NO MORE DRIVING TO GAS STATIONS JUST TO GET 1 GAL. MIXING FUEL. TO FIND OUT SEAL BAD, OR FUEL LINE CRACKED OR JUST DONT START. . INSTALL THE BATTERY AND THE WAY I GO. IM SURE SOME OF YOU UNLESS THE BATTEYR DEAD. BUT I STILL DONT HAVE TO LEAVE BUT ON THE CHARGE AND FINISH SOMETHING ESLE IN YARD. THAT SIMPLE

I bought this for residential use; I own a home but never had a need for a chainsaw until recently. We had a stong wind storm a few weeks ago and it took down a Red Oak tree - 55' tall with a 20" base. I started to look at gas-powered chainsaws, but most had some type of issue that the reviews pointed out. I moved to cordless to compare and Greenworks always seemed to be at the top - with many positive reviews. So, after some debating, I bit the bullet. This past week I used the 18" 60v Pro and really put it to the test. WOW! I made well over 100 cuts from small 1/2" shoots, to 5" limbs, to the trunk of the tree ... from 10" to 20". I only had to charge the 4.0AH battery once ... for the final 3 cuts of the base of the tree - 20" each. No ear protection; no fumbling with gas; no fighting with starting/stopping/starting - choke ... Nothing! Every time the chainsaw started as asked, and every time the chainsaw stopped on a dime! I truly recommend this for any homeowner! My only suggestion - BUY the 4.0AH battery!!! The extra power will go far beyond your expectations!!

The saw itself is fantastic !!!...but if you plan to make more than a few cuts you will need a larger battery (or extra batteries), I only got 22 cuts on an 8" diameter tree and the supplied 4.0 Ah battery was dead (yes it was fully charged), so the claimed 150 cuts on 4" material is not likely, if the saw came with a 6.0 Ah battery I would have given it 5 stars.
No complaint at all with the saw itself, powerful, smooth, quiet, and convenient, very happy to add it to my cordless collection.
