This saw is all I hoped it would be. It works as advertised. It cuts good, has plenty of power to clean up those trees you want to remove from your yard or clean up after a storm. No messing with fuel and pull cord. Just add chain oil into the oil compartment, pop in a battery, and you're good to go. The oil compartment is translucent too, so you can monitor your oil easily.

I got this chainsaw for 2 reasons. #1 No cord to pull to start #2 My wife was going to kill me if the tree over her studio fell on it My son and I had that tree cut down and cut up in 2 hours and 1 battery charge. Nothing hit the studio and the saw was easy to use. Like a hot knife through butter. Love it!

Chain jumps and ruins

Chainsaw cuts great when working, but twice in the first 20 minutes of use the chain jumped off the bar. Normally, would be no big deal, and would just put it back on. However, both times about 4-5 drive links we distorted and the chain would not fit back in the bar and was inoperable. Ruined 2 chains before finishing one small pine tree. Also, chain had been properly tightened before each chain job.

I read that this saw is equal to a 42 cc gas saw. I’ve run one of those, this saw is better. This saw is lighter, quieter, less vibration, and easier to control. I ran this saw for 4 1/2 hrs., took a break and cut down another tree before I felt the battery needed a recharge. I really do like this saw. It’s fast and it goes to work so much quicker than a gas model, and doesn’t stink like an oil and gas saw. Did I mention how much I like this saw?

To be honest I was sceptical that this would be a powerful enough for the job I had of felling numerous trees. I am more than pleased with the performance and durability.

I have used this chain saw several times now. It has exceeded my expectations. It’s very sturdy and well crafted. It’s powerful and runs much longer than I expected. It’s convenient. As an example, Just a few days I had a small tree trunk that was dead - maybe 3 inch diameter or less. My large lopper could not cut it. I would have normally gone for a saw at that point, but it was so easy to just grab my chain saw, pop in the battery, and take care of it quickly. I like the lighter weight of the 60 volt versus a heavier 80 volt for taking on big jobs.

Great and easy to use … better than I expected! Battery is strong and this newer version charges must faster. Only issue is too slow of oil dispensing for the chain (which is important). Must use thinner synthetic bar chain “oil” for best results - otherwise an easy 5 Star rating.

This is the Best chainsaw! I am 54 years old with nerve damage to my dominant hand yet I can cut with this chainsaw for hours. Smooth. Easy one handed operation. Satisfying and fun. Sounds weird but I really enjoy cutting with this chainsaw. Lots of cutting. I use the 8mah batteries from my mower for less changing because I'm cutting decent sized logs. The licensed, bonded, experienced tree man felling the big 42" diameter stump complimented my chainsaw while I was zipping through branch cleanup. That's a good feeling. Some of the logs pictured were done with a gas saw until the pull string broke. I will never have that problem. The only thing that would make me happier is a 24" bar and chain because I think it could power it.
