Corroded! Less than 6 months.

I am so disappointed. I never even used this grill, and it is already corroded. YUCK.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello there - We are so sorry that you're seeing rust on your cast iron grill. (Thank you for providing the photo.) This would be discouraging and we completely understand your disappointment.
At first, cast iron can be tricky to care and clean for, but once you know the tricks and what to do, it's actually quite simple. It's important not to clean it in the dishwasher and be sure to dry thoroughly after cleaning. To remove rust from the cast iron grill, use a steel wool pad and then re-season it with the methods described in this article: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=000060643.
