Ridiculous that GE doesn't make this dishwasher safe. All of the burner inserts go into the dishwasher, no problem. So, of course, I thought the griddle insert would too....nope, came out covered in rust. I'd rate it a zero if possible.

We recommend rinsing your griddle with hot water and dry thoroughly. Then prepare the surface with cooking spray or vegetable oil. It is not recommended to place in the dishwasher.
