The stove itself is great, but the center griddle is of horrible quality. I’ve nevertheless used the griddle for more than a spoon rest. When I do clean it, I don’t clean with anything harsh. The stove really should come with a cast iron one, just like the burners.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Never use it and is all corroded. So DISAPPOINTED. i was think to buy a new one even though mine is only two years old. I choose not to due to the same bad reviews about the quality. It will be just a waste of money.

I am so disappointed. I never even used this grill, and it is already corroded. YUCK.

At first, cast iron can be tricky to care and clean for, but once you know the tricks and what to do, it's actually quite simple. It's important not to clean it in the dishwasher and be sure to dry thoroughly after cleaning. To remove rust from the cast iron grill, use a steel wool pad and then re-season it with the methods described in this article: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=000060643. That article also offers very helpful cleaning tips for the long-term.

Need Original Non Reversible Cast Iron Griddle

We love this range and the Cast Iron Griddle feature but after a couple years of ownership the griddle is starting to chip. Im looking to buy a replacement for it but dissapointed to find out there is no original equipment replacement. (Non Reversible Cast Iron) Only this Aluminum one that apparently has horrible reviews. Is there some way of finding the original Cast Iron replacement for sale anywhere?
