Fits perfectly on our gallery wall!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fantastic television at an affordable price. It's such a design statement, especially when paired with our gallery wall in the dining room. Makes for easy viewing when we want to catch the news in the morning or simply enjoy some beautiful art as the day goes by. We simply love it and highly recommend it to others who are looking for something similar.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first tv I’ve purchased in over 10 years and my first smart tv. Purchased for the bedroom. Pretty easy to set up. Had a couple of hiccups and had to reenter account and network information twice after it reset, but so far so good. I love the slideshow art feature. The SmartThings app is ok. Seems a bit glitchy and I try not to use it. Overall I am enjoying my purchase and plan to upgrade my 10 year old large tv to a frame if it ever breaks down.

Love it but takes time to hang

the instructions for this tv are certainly not clear. you are lucky if you hit two studs perfectly where you want the tv. i suggest going to the hardware store and getting dry wall achors. it took me about one hour to figure out how to mount the tv. there is a template included but trying to use that and make it level is difficult but not impossible. i wouldn’t go too crazy trying to get the template level becuase you do have a good amount of correction once its hung. just need to make sure you get the height correct. once hung it looks beautiful. so thin, and near flush to the wall.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Amazing features and helps me along

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use it for gaming school streaming and SPORTS it never disappoints I can have bad wifi connection and it would not shut off like other devices. I fell in love with the first one I got back in 2007 and I think it was time to upgrade this yeat

Motion/Light Detector Broken On Arrival

The TV picture looks great. The art mode function looks great when it works (although I wish there was more customizable options for matting and framing your own pictures/art). The app to upload your own art is very clunky and freezes up. The remote for the TV is weird and non-intuitive. Agree with some other posters that the mounting bracket could be easier, but it's not too bad to install.
The main reason for my 1 star review is that the motion/light detector on the TV that is supposed to activate art mode when you walk into the room, was broken on arrival. This is one of the MAIN reasons why anybody would buy this TV.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for choosing The Frame TV and for sharing your experience with the motion sensor. Please ensure the motion sensor (located at the bottom of the TV) is not blocked, as this can prevent the sensor from working properly.

Some additional things to consider when using Motion Sensor:

1) If the surrounding area is too dark or bright, the motion sensor may not work normally.
2) The performance of the motion sensor may be affected by the installation environment (height, tilt, obstacles).
3) If the clothes you wear or your skin color is similar to the surrounding shading, the motion sensor may not work properly.
4) The TV responds to all visual changes around it (lights, displays, dogs, out-of-window changes, and other occurrences).
5) You can adjust the response level by adjusting the sensitivity of the motion detector. Go to: Home > Art > Settings > Motion Detector

TV is great, apps need work

my wife really wanted a tv we could try to blend in with our 100 year old home. we also looked at the comparable lg tv but settled on the 55” frame. i love the flush wall mount and was able to install it myself with no issues, you’ll just need one additional person to help you lift the tv up and hang it on the wall. the picture quality is excellent and we connected it to a sonos surround system and love the dolby atmos quality sound from the earc channel. our only gripe with it is that the smart tv features are sluggish and sometimes the apps simply do not work or will crash (paramount plus was a big issue). we ended up getting a roku ultra for 4k streaming and that solved our issue.
I would recommend this to a friend!

To optimize the Smart TV performance, please try Device Care option under the Support Menu. Go to Settings > Support > Device Care > Start Device Care

This service checks memory and frees up unused cached memory and closes background apps.

Please also be sure you are running the latest firmware. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to: Settings > Support > Software Update.
