Great concept, deeply flawed execution

love the concept for the frame tv, and when it works, the art mode is incredible. it works maybe 50% of the time. the software is garbage unfortunately, samsung clearly hasn’t invested in that aspect of it. both my tv and the smart things app are updated, but the interface is really buggy, so hard to tell if it’s the tv’s os or the app. i’ll try calling customer support, but i’ve read other users’ questions and this is typical so likely not fixable. it’s a shame.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

32 inch missing some key features

i have two frame tvs the 55 (2021) and 32 (2020). the 32 doesnt have the motion sensor so you have to manually turn the art on and off (the option is on the samsung art app but doesnt work on the 32?). also, the 32 isn’t 4k like the 55. both tvs look great with the added bezel. i have the modern pink bezel on the 32 for our nursery and the beveled white bezel for the 55 in our family room. both tvs have a lot of glare but i think samsung has fixed that with the new 2022 models. the picture quality on the 55 is better than my q6 tvs (65 and 75) that i have in other rooms but the 32 doesn’t have great picture quality.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Beautiful TV, but the new mount is awful

i want to echo what the previous reviewers below have stated about the new mounting hardware.
upon unboxing i saw the new mount had been split into two pieces and new immediately it was a dud. beyond the annoyance of positioning/leveling the clamps in the back slide so i have little faith in this wall mounting process.
samsung, please address this issue. it's clearly a problem and such a shame, too, since the functionality and use of the tv is incredible.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Stunning TV

pros:
- the tv itself is stunning
- the user interface is great
- the art mode is amazing
- storage space no longer an issue
cons
- the new mount is tough. it allows you to slightly change the level after it is already hung, so maybe that is why they switched. it does not need to be perfect because it does allow changes after hanging. it is hard to get it to click into place after it is hung.
- the one box is big and heavy. samsung previewed a new thinner version for some tvs
- youtubetv app goes black when you switch channels and not work again. you go to settings and reinstall the app and then the app works again. samsung needs to talk to youtube and fix the problem.
my wife thought this was a splurge when i purchased it, but she loves it and won't let me ever buy a "normal" tv again
I would recommend this to a friend!
