Great TV, can do anything.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very nice TV, better than I expected. The mount and TV stand was included, but decided to hire a professional TV mounter to set it up. Once set up on the wall, it literally becomes the centerpiece of the room. The picture quality is great, can handle 4K HD streaming with no problem, and most things on screen looks clear and crisp. At first there were times that it'd have a large glare if you looked at it at an angle, but I easily fixed that through the settings. Sound quality is also impressive, you can clearly hear a lot more detail going on the screen. Once we hooked up the soundbar, sound quality was on a whole different level. The house boomed when we'd even watch Youtube! Great to know that this TV isn't just all for appearances, it also has strong hardware. Interface is also good, it doesn't freeze or hang nowhere near as bad as our older TV, and apps load up within a second. The obvious feature, which is the art mode, is a really nice touch. Lots of times when we'd leave the house or just to go to bed, it's fun to leave it on. My wife went crazy over it. She customized it with lots of family pictures, favorite random pictures of ours, and setting the slideshow up for all that was extremely easy. Several of our friends just loved the TV at first sight and two of them are already planning to get one themselves.
I'd definitely recommend this TV for streaming, gaming, you name it. It can handle it. And be prepared to get tons of compliments!

Aesthetically Perfect; Interface is Ok

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] From an aesthetic perspective, the Samsung Frame TV is one of the best. I have been extremely impressed with the quality of artwork the Samsung tv displays when in “art mode.” It is relaxing and intriguing (depending on the piece of artwork) when walking by and seeing it on my tv. We recently started adding our own photos and love being able to see a collage of memories on the screen.
For tv viewing, it works well. I have been a little disappointed with the interface. I am still trying to learn how to find everything that I am wanting. Several times, my kids just switch over the Roku to watch whichever channel they are looking for. When you press the home button on the remote, a bar appears at the bottom for you to scroll and find the channel you want. This is great. It becomes more cumbersome when you are wanting to search for new content or get out of a certain app.
One of my favorite features is that is connects to most of my other smart devices – through both Google Home and Samsung Smart-things. Being able to speak into the remote to search on YouTube or to turn my lights off and on has been very convenient. I also like that the remote has a “solar” charging plate on the back of the remote. I no longer have to find batteries when the remote dies on me, as long as I leave it face down to charge with my room lights, it has always had enough battery.
My husband installed the tv into the wall to hide the cord. We used the kit that it came with. It took him a 2-3 hours by himself. Eventually I would like to buy the beveled edge for the tv. I think it would give it a clean, crisp look.t

A Home Decor Dream

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone that carefully plans out my home decor, this TV has solved all my family room design woes! We recently added a shiplap wall to our family room, and I couldn’t imagine hanging a huge, black rectangle up on it, ruining the aesthetic. As soon as I saw the Samsung Frame TV, and how it hangs just like a picture frame with interchangeable frame bezels, and displays beautiful art, I knew we had to have it. Art mode on our new Frame TV is absolutely gorgeous, and I love that I can change out the Art Work with the seasons, holidays, and my decor. The TV mounting kit was easy to do, and we love the fact that it has the One Connect box. There is a thin, almost clear wire that goes from the TV to the box, where the power cord and all of your HDMI connections can be plugged in. The best part is that the box is tucked inside our media cabinet, and the remote works even though the box is stored inside. It is truly like we just have a large piece of art on our wall, with no crazy wiring.
We are constantly entertaining, and our friends were shocked to see that our art was actually the TV.
I have found that turning the brightness down using the settings within Art Mode makes the art look even more realistic, and minimizes the “glow”. Adding art is very easy through the Smart Things App on my phone. Speaking of the app, we can also control the TV from our phones, which is very handy with two young boys. If they lose the remote, or if I am in another room while the tv volume is blaring, I can control the TV from my phone. I love how everything connects - we even get a message on the TV when the boys leave our Samsung refrigerator door open!
The picture quality is incredible. We mainly watch sports, and have loved viewing games in 4K. We stream through Apps (no cable), and the streaming quality plus the availability of apps is perfect. It is also nice to be able to mirror our phones on the screen when we want to watch the videos we took at our boy’s football games.
I am so thankful that the Samsung Frame TV has become a beautiful centerpiece in our family room. I would love to get one in all of our rooms! Now if only I could find a recliner that would not destroy my home decor aesthetic...

All TVs should be Frame TVs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ever since these came out a few years ago, I've wanted one. TVs are off most of the day in my family, and as just an empty black screen, it's a boring focal point. Enter the Frame TV. The artwork really is beautiful, and customizable, and looks real, especially if you're able to mount it on your wall (and the power cable is so small, it's easy to hide-I love that you can connect everything into a separate box vs having to plug ot all into the back of the TV). The remote, which solar charges and is simple, is also really cool...and the ease of adding all my streaming accounts (scanned with QR codes and signed in via my phone) was much appreciated. The picture quality is really good, though I'm missing the crispness of my old OLED, I'm not going to lie. The sound is also good, but it feels like the increments of volume must be really small, because I have to turn it up a lot to make a noticeable difference in volume (I'll be investing in a soundbar, I think). So far, I've pretty much just used my TV to stream TV and to game with my Xbox, which it's performed well at. Oh, and I have a lot of Samsung devices-lights and such, that I can turn on and off from the TV. Love that!

Art Masterpiece ( and a TV )

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For those who demand their TV fit their home décor and not their home décor fit their TV, the Frame is the perfect solution. The selections of art work is impressive if you opt for the subscription service, but it’s nice that Samsung included some free art and the ability to add your own pictures.
Installation: The included slim mount is nice for the most part. Unfortunately, it comes it 2 pieces which led to me being able to only use 1 wood stud in my wall, but using anchor screws solved my problem. Once the TV is hanging on the wall, you can easily adjust it to level it out. I would recommend watching some online videos if you are not familiar with mounting TVs on walls. The included One Connect Box is awesome, it allows you to just run a single wire in your wall instead of numerous cables like Power, HDMI, optical, ethernet, etc. In addition, it’s easy to add, remove, or change any connection since the box is separated.
Usability: The Frame uses a custom interface similar to Google TV in layout, with content taking center stage over just Smart APPs, which I really enjoy. It does take some time to figure out all the bells and whistles and where everything is located. The interface is fast, responsive, and it just works well. I was able to set up Google Assistant and SmartThings without issue. My wife loves turning the lights off & on and looking the doors from the couch. One thing I really like is the remote control, which I don’t think gets enough attention or praise. I was able to control all my entertainment devices, like my Polk Sound Bar, my LG Blu-Ray player, and my ROKU Ultra. It has a built-in solar panel which is able to charge the remote, no more having to re-charge my AA batteries.
Picture Performance: Before comparing any TV, you should first update the Picture Mode to “Movie” on this TV, as it gives it the most accurate colors. The Frame with its Quantum Dot, 4K, HDR10+ panel makes a really good picture, colors are vibrant and accurate, the blacks are good (but not OLED black), and I didn’t notice anything that looked bad or out of place like motion blur or dark spots. The one thing I did notice, was that the screen reflected light very well, which is a bad thing. If you have a lot of natural light, this may be an issue with Art mode, during TV watching I forgot about the reflection. It’s very nice they included a Game mode with support for AMD FreeSync & eARC over HDMI which allows you to get the latest Atmos enabled sound.

Beautiful in every way

The overall physical aesthetic is probably why most people want one but the picture quality and ease of use easily match it. The idle setting with the chosen art is flawless. The TV picture quality is extremely high res and looks incredibly realistic. My only critiques are some apps don't work consistently (YouTube TV especially) and some apps are not available (MLB TV). The installation wasn't difficult but could be improved with a schematic to use on the wall.

Gorgeous TV

The art mode is such a unique feature that allows you to display your favorite art in a manner that makes the tv become an element of decor. This tv comes with the mount, and the directions and process were a bit of a challenge. Previous Frame models had a one piece mount and included a template and that would’ve been a huge improvement to the frustrating install process. Love the one connect box and that there’s not lots of cords. We easily hid the box out of sight. We’ve been using an external soundbar, so I can’t comment on the sound quality. The picture quality, resolution and screen brightness are impressive. Shows in 4K are life like and we’ve been constantly in awe of the picture quality. We have had a lot of issues with the YouTube tv app, which we use for our live tv stream. Hopefully a future software update will fix this as it’s been our only real frustration with the tv. If you’re looking for a tv with not only amazing quality display, but that elevates your decor - look to the Frame for your next tv.
