Dead Pixels just after warranty expired

On Samsung's website, go to Support (upper right corner) and select Schedule a Service Appointment. This will allow you to find a location nearest you to help you with your repair.

Beautiful, but always broken

absolutely do not buy this tv. it's beautiful. and when it works, it's a thing of beauty. but it rarely works, and samsung keeps pushing out updates to the software that breaks critical funcitonality.
e.g., right now, it can't play a slideshow. which is the whole reason you pay extra for this tv! and support is useless...all they do is tell you to factory reset, then sit with your broken tv for months and hope it gets fixed in the next update (and nothing else gets broken).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for choosing Samsung's Frame TV. I'm sorry to hear you are experiencing difficulties with the Art Mode Slide Show feature. Please be sure your firmware is up to date with version 1805.4 which includes various performance and usability updates. You can check this by going to: Settings > Support > Software Update.

If this firmware version is not yet available on your TV, you can download the update on a USB drive and manually update your TV:
1. On Samsung's website (upper right corner), go to: Support > Manuals & Software > Find your TV model.
2. Download the update and extract it to the root of a USB thumb drive. (Do not put it in any folders on the thumb drive.)
3. Connect the USB thumb drive to a USB port on your TV.
4. Navigate to Settings > Support > Software Update, select Update Now, and then select Yes.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the updated software.

If you are still experiencing issues after performing any necessary firmware updates, please try the following steps:

- Reset your TV's Smart Hub. Navigate to Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Reset Smart Hub. Please keep in mind this will be sign out of your Samsung Account and all of your apps, not just the one you're having trouble with. Make sure you have the current login information for all of your accounts before you proceed.
- Refresh your TV using the SmartThings app. From the Devices tab, swipe down to refresh the device list.
- Delete and re-add your TV on the SmartThings app.

You pay this much for a TV and cant use it

cant tell you how good the tv is yet because i cant get it on the wall. we purchased the 65” and the mounts are not large enough to catch a stud. its missing it on both sides. now we have to go and spend more money on another mount that will not lay as flat. its a really dumb design flaw. theres no reason these pieces can be longer to accommodate and im not having the tv off center… if i had a slight larger or smaller version of the tv it would have probably worked.
also the connector hub is huge. i dont need to connect anything to the tv but i cant just plug it in, it has to go theough a massive hub. no idea where im going to out that…

Great concept, deeply flawed execution

love the concept for the frame tv, and when it works, the art mode is incredible. it works maybe 50% of the time. the software is garbage unfortunately, samsung clearly hasn’t invested in that aspect of it. both my tv and the smart things app are updated, but the interface is really buggy, so hard to tell if it’s the tv’s os or the app. i’ll try calling customer support, but i’ve read other users’ questions and this is typical so likely not fixable. it’s a shame.

Beautiful TV, but the new mount is awful

i want to echo what the previous reviewers below have stated about the new mounting hardware.
upon unboxing i saw the new mount had been split into two pieces and new immediately it was a dud. beyond the annoyance of positioning/leveling the clamps in the back slide so i have little faith in this wall mounting process.
samsung, please address this issue. it's clearly a problem and such a shame, too, since the functionality and use of the tv is incredible.

Stunning TV

pros:
- the tv itself is stunning
- the user interface is great
- the art mode is amazing
- storage space no longer an issue
cons
- the new mount is tough. it allows you to slightly change the level after it is already hung, so maybe that is why they switched. it does not need to be perfect because it does allow changes after hanging. it is hard to get it to click into place after it is hung.
- the one box is big and heavy. samsung previewed a new thinner version for some tvs
- youtubetv app goes black when you switch channels and not work again. you go to settings and reinstall the app and then the app works again. samsung needs to talk to youtube and fix the problem.
my wife thought this was a splurge when i purchased it, but she loves it and won't let me ever buy a "normal" tv again
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great TV, "Invisible" Cable Letdown

we really like the frame tv itself, but the "invisible" wire is huge disappointment and extremely obvious on a white fireplace. i cannot find any adapters to plug the cable directly into the outlet behind the tv, instead of it running to the big black box that comes with tv. we purchased with the understanding that the cable could be hidden, but it turns out that is not the case so now we are left with an ugly wire hanging down our fireplace and mantle. i really wish we would have known this prior to spending the money on this tv.

Slim, Beautiful TV

we bought the frame tv to incorporate into our gallery wall and it does not dissappoint! the mounting seemed complicated so we hired a task rabbit and had it installed professionally. the tv sits fluah and looks stunning!
the picture quality is beautiful and the overall design of the tv is excellent! the art will never fool anyone that its not a tv, but its so much better than the typical black hole on the wall!
we’ve also stopped using our fire tv since the tizen software works great!
overall, we are very happy! the price is a bit high, especially considering there are oled tvs that cost less, but the form factor is what we wanted.
I would recommend this to a friend!
