Great until you want to use You Tube TV App

great tv but unlike other samsung tvs, the you tube tv app crashes every time you use it. look up the black screen of death issues everyone has. every other samsung works great with you tube tv except this very expensive one. all this trouble to hang and set up and now i have to figure out how to get tv that works. save your money, buy real art and a real tv.

Terrible mount

to echo other reviews, there's almost no way to install the tv according to their instructions. their instructions call for four screws per bracket, but the brackets aren't long enough to guarantee hitting two studs (they would need to be at least 24" wide). basically if you're lucky, you can hit one stud, and then have to try something with drywall (or take the drywall out and add wood blocking behind the wall).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great TV but...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this TV, we currently have a 4k Vizio M-Series for our bedroom and an LG 4k for upstairs. This TV is eons better than our LG in terms of picture and sound. The picture and sound are both rich and vibrant. The only thing that's missing is Dolby Vision support....I can't, for the life of me understand why such a bug company refuses to adopt something that you can get in even the lower models of Vizio's lineup. The only other downside that I can speak to is that the TV seems to have no anti-reflective coating and can sometimes have a pretty bad glare in comparison to some other models.

this tv looks great! the art option will never look like a true piece of art but it is close enough in daylight to improve the overall decor and get rid of the “black box” look.
the prior reviews about the mount are ridiculous. it works great and is easy it install. the problem is the instructions are not clear and it took me a minute to understand the included table which tells you the exact distance to space the mounts apart based on your tv size. once you figure out the table, a clown clown could do it, let alone an engineer.
the one connect box is big and a bit clunky. i decided to put it in the wall instead of running the cable.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The Frame TV - A dream come true

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have wanted this TV for years and finally pulled the trigger. I am so glad I did as it has become the perfect centerpiece for my new home. So far, anyone that sees it assumes it's a picture frame and are floored when I hi the power button to reveal the television.
My only gripe is the new 2-piece mounting bracket which in itself just takes a little extra time and care to mount properly (as opposed to a single mounting bracket) but luckily Samsung started including a paper template which helped tremendously.

It's All About the Art!

recently we needed to rearrange our living area, and this meant put a tv in the living room. but we didn't want a black box over the fireplace when it's off. solution, "the frame". as a television, the pictures a nice quality - 4k. but aren't we asking because of the art mode. and here, i think it served it's purpose. we purchased the 2 year art store plan (cause - in this case, with the purchase - it came "free" with getting the tv) and mixed it in with our own photography and artwork. also, the filters are rather nice, taking pictures and giving a different look. no black box on the wall. it's all about the art!
I would recommend this to a friend!

ONE CONNECT BOX DEFECTIVE

do not purchase samsung tvs with a one connect box. now the flimsy wire and one connect box are not working and the tv is turning on and off frequently.

Please try these trouble-shooting steps: 1) Check the One Connect Connection Cable for damage and proper connection. 2) If the cable is bent, broken, kinked, pinched, pressed excessively (possibly by a heavy object on top of it) or damaged, this is likely the cause of the issue. Replace the cable. 3) Unplug the TV from the wall outlet for 30 seconds, and then plug it back in. 4) If the power cycling allows enough time in between powering on and off, try updating the TV to the latest firmware by enabling Auto Update: Settings > Support > Software Update > Auto Update (you will need to be connected to the internet for this to work)

Decent TV crippled by worthless remote

what could have been a good television is crippled by the horrible remote, which is further complicated by samsung's poorly conceived choice to us a rf remote instead of the common infrared which eliminates the opportunity to replace it with an aftermarket remote. the cursor jumps all over the place with a single push, continuously scrolling from left to right. it doesn't matter if you push the directional button once or hold it down. very disappointed with purchase. went from a sony to samsung and really wish that i hadn't.
