Missing Dolby Vision & HDMI 2.1 for eARC port
on June 6, 2022

this is supposed to be a high end 4k tv but it lacks key important stuffs. 1) doesn't have the dolby vision which is most used for hdr content now a days. 2) only 1 hdmi 2.1 & that is on port 4 and earc is port is 3 & this earc port is not hdmi 2.1 version. 3) missing dolby atmos sound. 4) tv audio is loud but totally missing quality (high fidelity sound) & even for audio out via hdmi earc. so even via good denon receiver it doesn't sound great compared to my 4 year old sony tv. 5) dts hd is totally missing for a high end tv - seriously?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very disappointed that i have to buy a separate sound bar just to watch dts movies. Had i known this i would have purchased another tv that supported dts. The picture and smart features are great.

Great Picture

i have the 65” qn90a. very happy with the picture and setup. i mostly stream to it from a 2019 nvidea shield pro with ethernet connection. still trying to decide if the shield or the tv upscales better i do have one issue that otherwise keeps me from rating 10/10. i get audio dropouts every once in awhile on a regular basis. i have a high quality hdmi cable from earc tv connection to my sony receiver. firmware is the latest. seeing others with this issue by using google search on it. i am hoping for a fix so i dont have to hassle with a return.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Amazing TV, Awesome Picture

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The picture quality on this TV is so impressive! It was heads and shoulders above our older TV that this replaced. The 4K content that I watched on this TV made me believe that I was there. The image was so clear and vivid, it was absolutely stunning. The sound quality is plenty loud enough for our needs. The voices are clear and the music doesn't overpower the dialogue. The smart things app made setup a breeze. We have Samsung appliances and now get notices on the TV if the door has been open for too long which is a nice feature. The TV has plenty of power to run the native streaming apps right from the TV. The remote is straightforward to use. The picture settings give you a lot of control to adjust the color and brightness of the image to make sure that it works well in your environment. There are several inputs for anything that you may want to connect to this TV. Overall, it is a beautiful TV! I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a high-quality TV. I simply haven't seen an image that is as clear and impressive as this!

So bummed :(

i purchased this tv less than two months ago. today, i turned it on only to find out the unit has failed! there's sound, but no picture (blank black screen). i tried every troubleshooting step i could find, but nothing resolved my issue. i now have to wait 2-4 weeks for a warranty repair. i understand there's going to be 'lemons' with any type of electronic. however, i hold samsung to high standards as they're supposed to be one of the 'best' in the biz. i'm pretty disappointed with my purchase.

Terrible Experience

I purchased this TV at the beginning of March. Not even two weeks later, black lines started showing up on the screen. I was able to exchange it but within two weeks of getting the replacement, bright lines started showing up on the bottom right hand of the screen. Two defective TV's in a month? No thank you! I returned the second TV and have decided to go with a different brand. I will NEVER purchase another Samsung TV. Buyer beware!
