i previously owned the un55js8500 and the it is worth the upgrade to the newest qled tv. it took a few hours of my eyes to adjust to the picture quality and the brightness and how clear this tv performs. i'm really happy i made the purchase and it is going to be a good summer chilling in the air conditioned room. gaming on this tv are amazing, everything came in details which the old "js" model could not compare.
if your cable box has no sound, try the hdmi (earc) port.

Beautiful tv, but plagued with ads

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The tv is almost perfect. The blacks are great, latency is good in game mode, and the detail on the tv is amazing. However upon connecting the tv to wifi it becomes plagued with ads. It definitely ruins the experience somewhat and really prevents the tv from being perfect.

great tv but could be better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this TV mainly for video games and secondly to watch TV shows. The color and peak Brightness is exceptional and the image quality is incredible. The only thing I don't like is the Blooming that continues to affect these qled televisions, I thought that this problem disappeared with the use of micro LEDs but there it is still. If it weren't for the problem described above I would rate it a 5 star but in conclusion I am very happy with my purchase
