Great TV & Picture but Dolby Atmos Issue

great tv with awesome pictures especially when watching hdr content. my only complaint is dolby atmos doesn't work on the netflix app that is pre-installed on the tv from time to time. tried resetting the tv, enabled all recommend settings but no luck so far. other applications seem to support dolby atmos fine (apple tv, hbo max, etc). tv software version is 2101. i believe the recent firmware update broke the atmos feature on netlix. hope there is a fix coming soon.

Superb detail in the colors

The ability to set up the remote access the varying degrees of colors and sounds are nice. Frustrating

i've owned the tv for a little over 6 months, it was mounted as soon as it arrived and never touched again.
the screen is starting to discolor and no amount of messing with the settings myself will it go away. there is also screen burn from previous you tube videos that i have had playing. i was under the impression that qled tv's could not get burn in but apparently i was wrong.
the first 5 months of owning the tv went perfectly fine and i loved it. it's been in the last month that the screen has started failing. i have switched out cords and attempted troubleshooting but nothing is working.
it's been frustrating to say the least.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Performance is great but durability is pathetic

i've had this since it came out and the tv was great. all the good disappeared when i turned the swivel mounted tv and turned it back to find an under the screen crack in the upper right corner. it takes no pressure at all to turn my mount so the tv breaking from this blows my mind. of course the warranty won't cover such a fragile product either. i've never been this angry/disappointed w/ a samsung product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After approximately 100 hours of use, here are my current thoughts regarding this product;
1. Picture Quality
The picture quality of this product incredible. Whether it be streaming movies or playing video games, the quality is the best I have ever seen . Being a long time video gamer, I have watched the development of graphics and CGI develop over time. This television has unlocked the greater image quality that I have ever seen. The picture quality and brightness of this product is easily the most standout feature.
2. Smart Features
I have no complaints in regard to the content provided among the smart features. I have been able to access every streaming service I use with ease. From the start, I found the organization of these features to be relatively easy to work with and well formatted.
3. Design
This product is beautifully crafted. I was very surprised by how light the television was despite its very large size. The sleek finish and low profile fit great in any modern home. I was also very pleased with the heavy duty stand that came with the television. I feel that it provides a nice design with maximum security to prevent the television from falling forward or backward.
4. My experience with this product
From day one, I have been playing PlayStation 5 video games on this television. The picture quality is breathtaking, especially when combined with the latest generation of video game consoles. I am also a huge Star Wars fan and frequently re watch the series on a variety of platforms. After watching Star Wars: A New Hope (1977), I was shocked at the picture quality I was getting from a movie that is 44 years old.
Overall, I am very grateful for this opportunity and am still amazed at how beautiful this product is, both in design and functionality. Without a doubt, the best television I have ever used or owned.

Audio and Video are NOT Synchronized

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All good except Audio and Video are NOT Synchronized and the warranty process is a nightmare … now over a month and still going through the warranty process to hopefully get this fixed.

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung QN90A TV and for sharing your experience with sound delays. Please be sure your firmware is up to date with version 1708.0 which includes updates to address lip sync or audio delays that you are experiencing. You can check this by going to: Settings > Support > Software Update.
If this firmware version is not yet available on your TV, you can download the update on a USB drive and manually update your TV: 1. On Samsung's website (upper right corner), go to: Support > Manuals & Software > Find your TV model. 2. Download the update and extract it to the root of a USB thumb drive. (Do not put it in any folders on the thumb drive.) 3. Connect the USB thumb drive to a USB port on your TV. 4. Navigate to Settings > Support > Software Update, select Update Now, and then select Yes. 5. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the updated software.

The best TV in this segment/class.

the picture and brightness is the best in its class. not many 85 inch tv out there to choose from. the processor is fast and tv turns off and on instantly. the remote can be better. it is very sensitive and a slight touch would kick you out of your show you are watching and then you have to navigate through to return to what you were watching. still a good tv. no burn ins compared to oleds.
