It's an okay TV. The picture is good overall and the sound is usually pretty good. The smart hub..... is kind of a pain in the ...... I don't always think it's that smart. It's difficult to get things connected. It's not as simple as they make it sound. The personal control over the apps is very limited - I would like more control. So for me, the interface just isn't so great.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Frequent audio drop out with Sonos

Frequent audio drop out with Sonos connect to eARC. Use to work fine until update 2141. Won't update to 2201 even when attempting to load by USB.
