Horrible rainbow effect

everything is great except for the rainbow eefect that ruins the experience of watching movies.
the tv is in the living room, therefore most of the time there is some light turned on and this causes a horrible rainbow effect on all dark scenes. i had older (less expensive) tvs in the same spot and none this issue

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I finally treated myself to a really good TV and this set was my best decision! It provides near-OLED picture quality at a substantial savings! Beyond the picture the sound from the built-in speakers was a pleasant surprise - I love my surround sound system but this set's quality satisfies 90% of my viewing. My only regret might be not buying the 85" model! Extremely pleased and looking forward to many years of enjoyment! Thanks Samsung!

this tv is one of the best so far. i love all the features but since i am a gamer. the one i enjoy the most is the game mode. with the ability to have vrr. (variable refresh rate), great picture quality for sd content, and crisp 4k/uhd/hdr content. gaming is smooth in 4k. the only problem i have with it is certain smart hub apps don't work properly when completely updated like paramount+. the menu can have a bit of lag at times as well.

Beautifully realistic TV picture

i bought this to replace my 6-year-old 65 vizio tv. i spent hours researching various review sites and tv owner forums before deciding to get the qn90a (2021). this tv has exceeded all of my expectations of what i thought uhd and hdr tvs could do. i have never seen such black blacks or bright colors. viewing some of the youtube 4k hdr demo videos shows what this thing can really do! there is one video of a sunrise that is just breathtaking. the sun comes up and is so bright, i actually find myself squinting as if it was a real sunrise. and viewing a brightly lit object against a black background almost appears three dimensional (see attached picture i took with my iphone). hdr content is so realistic i feel i am "in" the movie.

The color Pops

i got this tv and i love it! the color pops and the sound quality is brilliant! the 1st thins i did once it was up and running after the setup process, is go and find some really great movies and watch some iconic scenes to see how they looked.
i watched a cosmos episode, marvel fight scene, borne action scene and more. wow! amazing, i also went back to other movies that were 20 or so years older and they looked better on this tv.
i highly recommend this tv
