I keep getting purple light mode. I've gone through everything on the troubleshooting website. Bad unit?

Great Modem and Router

Comcast is trying to claim that the Netgear Orbi is not compatible with 1.2 Gigabit Plan which is false. I did a Speedtest on the Orbi App and was putting out 1.4 Gigabit Speed!!!!
Easy set up and great coverage in my place! Absolutely love it!
I would recommend this to a friend!

SPEED & COVERAGE

If you’re looking for the fastest cable modem/router available, buy this one. In addition, the coverage throughout the house is excellent. It makes my old modem/router feel like dial up internet. Seriously, don’t hesitate. This is the best option for an all-in-one cable/modem WiFi router.
Great piece of equipment never had internet so fast!
