[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The PMD Personal Microderm Elite Pro is an amazing at-home tool to use on the face and body. Even though I am a licensed beauty professional, I want to be informed before using clinical-grade tools at home. Prior to using, I read all information that came with the product, then watched the recommended videos on the PMD website for instruction. I recommend doing that before using this microdermabrasion tool.I have sensitive skin so prior to first use of the Elite Pro, I applied the “very sensitive” disc and face cap to my face. Then on my body I applied the “moderate” disc and body cap, which did an amazing job on my arms. I started with my arms because they are rough and bumpy due to keratosis pilaris, and they are never smooth. After the first use, on the back of my arms especially, I could not even feel the bumps anymore. I have continued to use on both my body and face but more frequent on my body. My face and body are the smoothest they have ever been, and I cannot get over how amazing my skin feels. Highly recommend the PMD Personal Microderm Elite Pro.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] pmd Personal Microderm Elite Pro is a clinical-grade at-home microderm. As a licensed esthetics instructor, I have always been very skeptical about these types of products. They can do damage to someone's skin if the person using it isn't using it properly. I do like that pmd includes a training disc for first time users or people with very sensitive skin. For me personally, I really like this product. It is comfortable and easy to use. This kit includes everything you need to get started. It comes with replacement discs ranging from sensitive to intense so you don't need to buy extra discs right away. It even comes with a couple discs for use on your body. There is also options for different speeds which is great. My favorite feature is the blackhead cap. It really helps to clean out pores.

This is an excellent dermabrasion tool, so much so that you need to be prudent about which disk you use! Equal to any professional dermabrasion treatment and you can use it over and over. I have some sun damage on my lower neck from being a cyclist, and this is gradually helping me remove that damaged skin and discoloration. A great investment.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Thank you for your input on the PMD discs. We do understand your frustration, however, each disc should be able to be used 3-4 times - which would amount to a new disc approximately every month. Our replacement discs can be purchased as a set of six discs for $20.00 a set if you purchase them as a one time subscription, or $14.00 if you purchase them on a subscription to ship out on a regular basis. From this perspective it may be a bit more affordable since a set of six would like cover disc needs for almost 6 months.

I must say that this device took a bit of a learning curve to master, especially after multiple attempts to get it right without causing irritation.During my first use, I mistakenly skipped a patch test and went directly to using it on my face. I didn’t anticipate how strong the suction would be, which left irritation marks that later lightly scabbed. However, with a great skincare routine, my skin healed quickly and ended up feeling and looking better than ever.I appreciate the concept and design of the PMD Beauty Personal Microderm Elite Pro. The packaging is sleek and convenient for travel. However, I would advise proceeding with caution, especially for first-time users. I often get microdermabrasion and thought it would be nice to have something that I could use at home for maintenance in between appointments. I love the idea of exfoliating my skin because I get blackheads and small pimples often. The PMD Beauty Personal Microderm Elite Pro was intriguing for this very reason.I honestly didn't enjoy this tool. The suction felt a bit aggressive but oddly enough it didn't feel strong enough to remove anything. I felt like I was just stretching my skin.After a few uses, I decided that this just wasn't for me. There wasn't a difference in my skin afterwards besides being very red. I give this personal microderm tool a 3/5. Though I didn't receive the results that I wanted, maybe this could work for others. It's a very cute set as well.

I’ve been a Beauty Expert for four years now, and I’ve never tried anything like the PMD Personal Microderm Elite Pro. This exfoliation tool provides you with clinical-grade exfoliation and amazing vacuum suction. This is a full kit with three caps, one for the face, a body cap and a black head cap. This kit comes with an extended range of discs for endless skincare possibilities. I would recommend you begin with the white disc that is a training disc designed for the most sensitive skin in mind. These amazing discs are covered in aluminum oxide crystal for optimal exfoliation with each use. You can use these discs for three to four times. This device has a button that controls the three modes from most sensitive to most intense modes. Luxe caps help you effortlessly glide this device along your skin and are exclusively designed to create a tight seal to maximize the benefits of variable suction and speed. The slim, ergonomic design of this device fits comfortably in your hand and is easy to grip. Its design makes it easy to glide across the curves of your face and body.
