So much fun!! A must have for Mario Kart fans!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loved this Hot Wheels set! We have almost all of the other Mario Kart Hot Wheels sets and he says that this one is his favorite. It has lights and sounds and comes with two cars. It only took about 15 minutes to set up and the stickers were already on the set. I definitely think that's a plus. Up to five cars can race at a time and we thought it was the most fun when all five lanes were in use. You can turn off the obstacles or leave them on. There is only one obstacle towards the end of the track, and you never know which lane(s) will have an obstacle. There is a finish line sensor that lets you know which car won. The cars do go pretty fast so it is often a photo finish. There are also two ways to set up the track, which is a nice option.
There are only a couple of things that I would change about this track. It would be nice to have volume settings on the audio and it is a little more difficult to take down and store than the directions indicate. Overall we loved this set and I would definitely recommend it for anyone who loves Mario Kart.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have three boys under the age of 6. (twin 6-year-olds and a 4-year-old). They have varied interests, and it's rare to find something they all can play with together. The Hot Wheels Mario Kart Rainbow Road Raceway Set is one of those rare unicorn toys. The Hot Wheels aspect appeased my Hot Wheels aficionado (who put most of the track together by himself), the Mario Kart component thrilled my Mario Bros. fan, and the lights and sounds thrilled my youngest, who loves to compete with his brothers. The set was an instant hit and one they continue to play with day after day. Toadsworth it!

MarioKart Lovers Must Have!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With a child that is an avid MarioKart lover, this was a no-brainer pick for us. He was so excited when it arrived - his eyes about popped out of his sockets! It was quick and easy to put together, though some of the connectors were a little stubborn. My son did wish that the whole track was rainbow, but he likes to pretend the solid pieces are "super sonic speed". Comes with 2 cars, and the MarioKart Hot Wheels die cast cars also fit the tracks. He invited all his neighborhood friends to come over and have races. It is a big track, but with as much as he plays with it, it is worth it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son was so excited to set this up and couldn't wait for me to finish. He was able to help put it together with me because it was very easy. Really like that there are red/green lights to start the race and it digitally shows what racer won. Also really like that there is an obstacle at the end that seems to change every time a race is done. Fantastic track that shows what Rainbow Road is really like. Can't wait to buy more racers to add to the fun!

Really love but 2 pieces dont fit

Really really loved the track. It is very detailed, bright, colorful, loud. 6 year old is really engaged for hours a day, so far it has kept up attention for a week. The cars are expensive, and trying to locate just a specific kart is pricey, but the karts and selection of characters are awesome. My only gripe with it so far is that 2 connecting pieces do not snap in place causing karts to jump around the turn and either go flying off or jumping out of their track. Other than that I would highly recommend. Still waiting on a response from Mattel as I have messaged them through multiple platforms and medias
