[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I hope to be able to change my rating in the future, but the laptop sent to us was defective. Within the first day of light use (honestly just setting up and installing) the computer began to give fan errors and shut down immediately or force safe setting launch. Now we have to wait for a replacement during the holiday season.

Battery issues all over

I bought a top Gen 4 X1 Yoga last year, and the month the warranty was over I started having battery issues (battery not being detected, not taking charge, etc.). Overall, not pleased with the device because of:
1. I expected higher level performance with the top i7 CPU. I had a ThinkPad from work that had a noticeably better performance with a lower grade CPU.
2. Battery life is very short - 2.5-3 hrs.
3. Battery is not reliable.
