[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good laptop, nice and quick but a little on the heavy side. Generally pretty good but, as with almost every Lenovo product I've ever owned, there seems to be an issue with wireless connectivity. Both Wi-fi and Bluetooth are spotty and keep disconnecting for some reason. This is the third Lenovo product I've owned and the have ALL had the same issue. Whoever Lenovo are getting their wireless and bluetooth adapters from, they need to change supplier.
Touch screen died on the second week. No support whatsoever.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine is a replacement for my X1 Carbon gen 4, which has run pretty strong over the last 5 years. As an field biologist I need a machine than can crunch numbers on the go. The 2-in-1 design is an upgrade bc I take tons of notes and doodle constantly, and when I'm teaching online a touchscreen is a serious asset. This machine does it all. While it is heavier than my old machine and has a shallower keyboard, it is an improvement in almost every other way. The screen, the sound, the flexible positioning, the built-in stylus, fast processor, and legacy ports make for a unique, powerful, amd comfortable experience. I remain a very satisfied ThinkPad user.

Unbearable: Great Laptop, Bad Heat Management

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After two months of use, I cannot recommend this laptop to anyone who uses external displays.
When plugged-in, the laptop heats up so much that it slows down drastically (slower than my 10 year-old laptop). It is well documented on the internet that you will have a hard time doing a conference call (Zoom, Teams, Google Meet, etc) while plugged in and connected to an external display.
Other than this issue, I love this laptop. Lightweight, rigid, long-lasting battery, great keyboard, bright matte display, loud/rich speakers, lots of ports, webcam shutter, and a nice design overall. I do hope that they manage to fix the thermal issue that virtually breaks this laptop when you need it the most.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The laptop is over all very well made and is good so far. I am a little worried about the screen getting scratched with the pen. The built in pen is also more of a stylus and the buttons are a bit hard to find each time you want to use it.

This is the second ThinkPad X1 Yoga Gen 6 that I purchased (because I returned the first one due to the laptop always freezing. Like Completely freezing up).
And unfortunately this second laptop is having the exact same problem (I even decided to take more ram in hopes of "fixing" this but I encounter the same problem and even worst than the first. Freezes more regularly than the first).
Don't get me wrong, I love Lenovo in general, I'm actually writing this from my legion 5 which I adore. I just think perhaps there's a product deficiency with this specific model (X1 yoga gen 6). Or at the very least, I've had bad luck with this product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
