the screen will crack without cause do not buy

as this was a new product i was very hesitant on buying this but the specs were so great i had to try it out. unfortunately it was a terrible design. too thin and would get very hot at times. not to mention the screen broke on its own and is now a paper weight. would not recommend

I bought this a few months ago and left it on my desk. next thing the screen was cracked. absolutely no dings or scratches it cracked on it's own.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Screen Is extremely fragile.

i have had this computer for a year and the screen has cracked twice from only closing the lid. size and functionality are great but beware of the screen. unfortunately will be replacing way sooner that i had hoped.

Good for School and Work but witha few issues too

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had this laptop for 12 months and it was a joy to use. The laptop overall is a beast and it is nice to be able to control the amount of power the processor gives off. I think samsung however could improve the software aspect of this computer. The apps could be better supported and integrated with the computer. I would like to see the samsung messages app or more samsung apps on this pc. I will like to see an independent dex mode so I can change my windows laptop to a samsung designed interface. I would like to see samsung better implement updates as well. The design overall is great but the track pad could be haptic enabled but is very nice to use. The laptops Webcam is not so great but that was fixed in its newer model. I like the beautiful Amoled display that provides beautiful HDR images. The software is great with great connectivity between devices. The laptop is very durable and remains fast after 7 months of use. It is great if you are already in the samsung ecosystem or need a good uktrabook for work or school. I use samsung notes which is the best note taking app for school. It helps me stay organized. I do not have the tablet even though I am looking to get one, the galaxy book is excellent with it and works flawless between devices. I wish the screen was 19 by 10 aspect ration but 19 by 9 helps films look nice. This laptop is amazing and it does turn heads. The other day in class everyone thought I broke my laptop when I flipped it 360 but I turned around and said my galaxy my way. They knew Apple was garbage then

I have been using this laptop for 5 months, specifically the navy color with 1TB storage and 16GB ram. I got it 50% off through the Samsung Education Discount program.
Wow, I really love this laptop!
Pros:
- Extremely quick startup, I'm at the desktop in less than 10 seconds.
- Decent game performance. I can play Guild Wars 2 comfortably on low settings or Team Fortress 2 on medium-high.
- The pen works very well for drawing, browsing, and playing solitaire.
- Dedicated number pad on the keyboard.
- Lightweight and slim.
- Touchpad is responsive and clicky.
Pros:

- This laptop is slim enough to feel a bit fragile. After reading other reviews from others whose screens got broken, I baby this thing like crazy.

Best Laptop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this laptop about 6 months ago to use for college and digital drawing. Fast processing, and great pictures. Very light weight, easy to pack up, and folds into a tablet nicely, or you can fold it half way so it stands up as just a screen which I like to do for reading and watching videos. The S pen used on this screen is so smooth, I prefer it over pen and paper in most cases. The only con I could say is, I do wish the speakers were a bit louder, but that's not a huge deal compared with all the pros of this laptop. Oh, and the S pen magnetizes to several spots on it!
I would recommend this to a friend!
