Poor Mouse Pad, Bad Charger
on February 13, 2022

I bought this laptop about 4 months ago. My two complaints are that the mouse pad gets stuck, nd the charger is terrible. For the mouse pad, I have to push the bottom of the laptop up to get it unstuck. I had to buy a Bluetooth mouse since the aggravation of the mouse pad is too much. You have to have the laptop sitting just right like on a table, not your lap. Also, the charger is made so poorly that you must have it in at the right spot and cannot move it without the screen going black or the laptop not charging.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Powerful Portability

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so impressed with the new Samsung Galaxy Book Pro 360 that I had to write this review to share my feelings. I was due for a laptop upgrade, but this is so much more. This is a powerhouse PC with the latest Intel evo i7 processor, a 1TB SSD, and 16GB. But not only is this a PC, it's also a tablet. The hinge (which is bit loose for my tastes) allows the computer to rotate 360 degrees around and become a tablet, or sit in a 'tent mode' on your lap or a table. With the included S Pen, you can write directly on the screen like a notebook.
The Galaxy Book Pro 360 is a top of the line 2-in-1 laptop that delivers quite a punch. The speed is incredible, and I was able to have multiple tabs running in Chrome, while installing Photoshop, with minimal fan noise. Plus, I've been getting very solid battery life out of the machine.
The screen is a big highlight of this laptop, as it is one of the few on the market with an OLED display. This means that the display can achieve perfect blacks. This looks great in the dark or when watching dark scenes from a movie (don't forget to enable HDR in the Display Settings).
A few other things I like and dislike:
+ Keyboard has a full number pad on it
+ Fingerprint reader built into the keyboard on the power button
+ Laptop passes the one finger open test
+ Wake from sleep is near instant
+ Built-in Samsung software adds great notetaking apps
- Hinge is looser than I'd like it to be and wobbles as you type
- Build quality feels like a mix of aluminum and plastic
- Fan continues to run for minutes when computer is put to sleep while plugged in
- Samsung has pre-installed about 30 additional apps that are sometimes quite duplicative of built-in Windows features (though they can be easily removed)
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Screen flickering out of box, had to do a return and replacement. I wanted it to be great but couldn't get past the light bleed on dark screens. Was washed out and really bugged me. Speakers are terrible l, Samsung needs to move them from the bottom of the unit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If there were an Indy 500 for laptops that I have used, this laptop would win. I waited a couple of weeks to review to make sure it wasn’t too good to be true.
I have so much to say about this laptop but I’ll start with my first impressions. It was packaged in such a thin box that I wasn’t sure it was the Samsung Galaxy Book Pro 360, till I opened it. This laptop is so thin and low profile, it amazes me that it packs such a punch. The outer casing is smooth to the touch and a striking metallic dark navy. It’s so smooth though, that you will see fingerprints. Nevertheless - it’s gorgeous and a welcome change after the typical grey laptop casings.
The trackpad is very smooth as well and generously sized. I’m not a fan of the keyboard just yet. It takes some getting used to, as it has a number pad to the right (similar to a computer keyboard). I find myself hitting the wrong keys when typing as I adjust to the smaller area devoted to letters.
I found the case a bit hard to open. Given that the laptop is so thin, there isn’t a big area to grip to open up the laptop. I found that I need to use two hands by holding the laptop down with one, and using the other hand to open it. It’s still a welcome sacrifice to have such a thin laptop in exchange for that. The laptop itself is lightweight and feels evenly balanced and not at all heavy on my lap.
Now on to performance - which is really one of the most important things. This laptop is blazing fast. It works faster than I think. I literally click on something and it instantly loads. I am a huge multitasker. At any given time, I will have multiple tabs open in chrome (true test for a laptop), an email app, Word and/or Excel and Adobe professional. This laptop doesn’t lag with all these programs open at once. This is huge for me. I have the 16gb of RAM version and I would strongly encourage any multitasker to opt for the same. Starting up this laptop is a dream. It’s on and ready to go in a couple of seconds from a full shutdown. It shuts down in a second too. The fingerprint reader for login is a bit finicky. I registered a few fingers to make it easier. The newest driver download seemed to make it more responsive though - and I hope they continue to work on this. The fingerprint reader doesn’t seem to work if your fingers are damp either. If this happens, there’s always the alternative passcode method (or turning off this step altogether). I’m surprised by how quiet this laptop is. The fan only seems to run if I’m uploading or downloading a large file, which is infrequent. And when it does run, it’s pretty quiet. The laptop barely gives off heat, even after staying on my lap and running for quite some time. The Samsung software for updating drivers works well and is efficient. There is also an option to connect with your Samsung phone. Would love to see this for us iPhone users. I was surprised to see no traditional USB port. There are three USB-C ports however. At first I panicked, because I had just prepared a backup on my external drive to transfer to this laptop. After a quick online search, I found a pack of usb to usb-c adapters for 3 bucks. They worked seamlessly. USB-C is the future, and faster, so now that I have the adapters, I’m fine with it. Lastly, the touchscreen works seamlessly, both by hand and with the included pen. I used the pen to mark up some PDF documents and was pleasantly surprised to see that clicking the button on the pen even allowed me to erase some markups. The pen feels great in the hands. I at first thought it would be nice to have an integrated holder, but now I think it would only take away from how thin and low profile this laptop is, and be prone to breaking off/losing the pen. I’m guessing that’s why they opted not to. It’s not something I use every day so I’m happy with the way it is now.
All in all, this laptop is outstanding in terms of performance, appearance, and efficiency. It’s a dream to use and to show off. I absolutely love it.

Fan is very noisy....if you connect usb c hub with 3 monitors and close the lid it crashes ( of course all drivers of samsung and the hub updated/applied ). Stick with Microsoft Surface - it was waste of money for me.

I must say... this 13.3 ultra-portable 2 in 1 is perfect for my needs and the screen is nicer than I have ever seen on a Laptop. It is also nice to have a Laptop that can last all day without charging throughout the day.

cracked screen

In a few months of use, it never fell to the ground and the screen had a crack. Very upset because this was expensive and I always preferred Samsung. I noticed that other people also had the same problem.

Nothing to complain about
on June 16, 2021
Posted by: ebelop
been a long time mac user. switched back to windows a year ago because i was tired of apple and really liked ms surface pro. however, it was still a bit bulky (understandably due to removable keyboard and design).
heard about gbp 360. have been loyal to samsung for several years now as a brand. wanted a new toy. in all honesty, nothing major that i can really complain about. software is great. some say it has lots of samsung bloatware, i disagree as most of it is useful in many ways. design is nice and slick. trackpad is is really good; almost perfect.
wishlist: brighter display. oled is great but needs some extra brightness. bottom screen frame / border too wide / too large.
overall, great unit and i am very happy with it.
I would recommend this to a friend!
