Coolest Notebook Ever

I LOVE my Rocketbook. The executive size is perfect for when I'm out and about and want to write or draw something. It's also great for next to my bed for when I need to write things down in the middle of the night so I can get back to sleep. I also love that I can search for pages I've already scanned on the app, as well as upload them to my folders in Google Drive. I recently discovered that I can share my pages right from my app, so I don't have to take a separate picture to text to a friend.
I have run into a couple cons: my lefthanded friends can't experience the joy of writing in a rocketbook without smearing it as soon as it's written--the ink doesn't dry fast enough. I also have a tendency to run out of pages before I'm ready to start scanning.

Really the only thing I don't like about my rocketbook is that my cover has become bowed, which makes it hard to write on and parts of the black edges appear in the photos. I've tried flattening it in a dictionary, and bending it opposite of the curve for a few days. I can get it to stay flat for a few minutes to a day, but inevitably it seems stuck in the bowed position. I don't know if it's something with just my rocketbook or if it happens with others that are executive sized, but it does discourage me from purchasing another one.

Awesome product - awesome customer service

I use a Rocketbook everyday!! Either meeting notes that I scan and save; scanning Whiteboards with Beacons and then share with others; Cloud Cards instead of sticky note reminders on my desk...love these products. But even better is customer service. When an item arrived without its cleaning cloth, a quick e-mail to their Customer Service had a new cloth shipped the next day.

Amazing

This is amazing! I have been using this to write a story, and it works really well. My only problem is the Handwriting recognition, however that is my fault because I have terrible handwriting. Other than that, it is the best notebook ever, because of the Handwriting recognition, it helps transfer my writing to Microsoft Word.

I purchased the lined, letter size Rocketbook for my college classes. I’m a avid notetaker, so I go through several notebooks every semester and they get hard to carry around and I always hate the paper waste. Rocketbook solved that problem; all my notes are saved on the cloud and I only have to carry around 1 notebook for all my classes.
My only issue is the number of pages in the book. I wish there were about 10 or so more pages, because erasing is quite time consuming and I find myself erasing frequently because of how many notes I take per class.
In addition, I know that Rocketbook has no control over this, but I thought it was worth mentioning if you’re planning on purchasing one. The pilot frixion pens run out insanely fast. I mean I have to replace it every 2 weeks, which is insane and a huge annoyance. If you’re a student, this is something that may be a dealbreaker for you. However, if you’re just a casual notetaker, or don’t write a lot down each day, then this shouldn’t be too much of an issue.
Overall, great product, I’ve been using it for about 2 months and have loved it so far. Out of the options on the market right now, this product is definitely a front-runner!

I got this as a birthday present and has been invaluable for planning out programming projects with my team.
There are good online tools but I much prefer to use a pen to draw out the "schematic" of the application.
I was worried that the software might be lacking but it is phenomenal, handwriting recognition is amazing, integration with many services (slack and evernote have been especially useful for me) and a simple and powerful UI have changed my mind.
Worth every penny.

Great but app issues

My notebook just arrived today and so far I'm really impressed by its capabilities and can see myself using it a lot, but I've already been having issues with the app crashing a lot. Was planning on using to submit electronic tests for school, but the app is definitely not reliable in a timed environment. Other than that, really great product.

Best digital aid

I am a mediator and our search must keep notes of my mediation sessions. The ability to take notes and then easily upload them to dropbox is the most convenient tool I have found in a very long time. This is really a very effective way to maintain a history of your work
