TurboTax is quite easy to use.

I've been using TurboTax for more than 5 years, and it seems to be way easier than doing taxes on paper and cheaper/easier than going to a tax-prep firm with our fairly simple returns.

Not as good as last year,

Just seemed to be more difficult to answer the questions the way they were worded. It STILL did not handle my annuity 1099 from OPM without guesswork from me. For instance; there is no IRA/SEP/SIMPLE box on that 1099 form but I was still asked to answer if it was checked or not. and I was asked about RMD payments for that account when, as far as I know, they do not apply to OPM annuities. At the end of the process, during the errors check, I was queried about child support income for an 8812 form. I have no idea where the basis for that question came from as I have no dependents except my wife. All in all I was disappointed in this year's software.

I've been doing taxes for a very long time and as long as you have the right product for your situation, Turbo Tax is the easiest and most straightforward tax program to use, hands down.
