Easy to use but there were fees to file at the end. So, free e-file isn't really free.

I have used TurboTax for years, but this year, I had to download the program onto my computer vs doing it only. I am not keen on being obligated to download program that if it is not my desire beforehand. This is bothersome.

I've used Turbo Tax for years -- online. I've had various levels of accounts, from all the extras for a business owner to a simple filing. Always online. This year, my account seems to be empty, and when I tried to proceed with a free/simple return, i was directed to buy a desktop version for $80. What happened to working in TurboTax online? I'm really bugged my online account seems empty. I would assume this year's $80 payment would make my online account active. Why was I prompted to work offline in a different-looking system than usual. Confused.

Poor wording of questions and RIP OFFS

This tax program needs to be checked against itself. The wording of questions had led to two audits in my case. Also, if you purchased programs for other states, these people make you PAY AGAIN if you need to amend the return later. This after saying your taxes are "AVAILABLE". THEY ARE NOT!! To amend you have to PAY ALL OVER AGAIN like I had to TWICE. I am considering other tax applications or just paper and pencil.
