Been using TurboTax for many years. IMO, instructions for state forms have always been mediocre. It's as if the company just doesn't review and consider the way that instructions are phrased on the software. But it's getting worse. C'mon guys, we're relying on you in order to do our taxes. READ what you're putting into the software and THINK whether it's clear what you're telling people to do. HINT: It's often NOT clear. And I'm not even doing anything particularly sophisticated. Just a homeowner who works in NYC but lives in NJ.

After paying for the software that said included the e-file for state and federal, I was then asked and charged again for it. I had to pay double, I will never use the product again and don't recommend this product, unless you want to pay double for it.
