It was ok.. a little confusion when I did not originally get the education tax credit went back after states and thought it seemed odd but the amount due never changed once I got the $1500 tax credit. This part did not come up as an error or alert me.

A few software glitches made this a less enjoyable (possibly costly) experience. The max state tax deductions numbers were shown by way of a large negative number in the total deductions table. Different from last year so very very confusing and a little scary. Also, not clear that software needed to be updated on Mac so my filing failed a few times until I went to your support page. I am still not sure if the software did my dependent credits correctly. Software help bubble said dependents won't get a federal credit if they are over 17. That seems odd (18?), but ultimately, the final tax payment felt reasonable so I went with it. I came close to giving up on this software this year. Not sure about next year. I am going to leave these comments even though the terms and conditions I have to agree to are ridiculously long (read most of them) and just silly given the context. In my opinion, you aren't paying me for my opinion so I shouldn't have to assume liability to you for it.
