Confusing

Had issues this time

I submitted 1 tax return through e-file without issue, the second took more than 1 attempt. The "Transmitting" loading prompt timed out and made the application inaccessible. Thankfully it recovered my work after forcing the app to close but I was concerned some info was omitted. It took additional time to review and verify all my information entered was populated. First time I've had an issue but there was 0 recourse through the app, information found online was not helpful. I hope I didnt submit twice-thrice but I have no way of telling.

State "filing fees" are a fun add-on. Way to go!

So you paid and addition $40 for the state tax return to be prepped alongside your federal, right? (Because there's multiple versions, one without, one with...) Cool.
You go through and think- ah, this was work the extra bucks... BUT WAIT... There's more!
You also get to pay an additional 20-25$ to efile your state return with the product you just paid $80 for... That's right! Congrats! Super convenient that you can pay right within the app, or have it deducted from your return (for a nominal $40 fee- so $65 total) to just efile the prepared return... something you can do FOR FREE. Way to go, Intuit. I really feel like you're looking out for me. Thanks so much for the opportunity to pay you even more...

It just can't get any easier than with Turbo Tax! Several individuals can utilize the software for filing with one purchase (read box of which Turbo Tax you purchased). I've used Turbo Tax for 5 years and would not think of using other softwares!
