Good but Frustrating at Times

I've been e-filing with TurboTax for over 15 years. It's a great product, but it has several "gotchas" that should have been fixed by now.
Like the simple action of pressing the BACK button. Sometimes it goes back one screen, and sometimes it goes back to the very beginning of that particular section.
And if you use the "Interview" or Step by Step method, many of the boxes on the forms don't get checked, and you have to do it in the Review section.
But I have confidence in the calculations, and that's the most important thing.

TurboTax Has Been Better

I have been a TurboTax user for as long as they've been around. I switched to a Mac a couple of years ago, after using the PC version before that. I can't say if it's because the tax code has gotten even more complex (it has), or if it's the Mac version of the program, but our tax return isn't very complicated, but it's gotten immensely more difficult to prepare and file that ever before. I see numbers in the Easy Step program that don't match what they should, though when I go to the actual return forms, they are correct. The guidance and help is inadequate, and Intuit's substitute is to send me to the TurboTax forum which may or may not answer my question. I manage to get it done, but it's getting harder every year.

TurboTax, the friend there when you need them

Every year, around February, I start to panic, and then I take a deep breath and remember how easy it was the year before. I just gotta sit down with the documents, do a little data entry with a glass of wine, and booom, done (hopefully) TurboTax is the best!

Not completely sure if I would use it again!

Paid 50 for Deluxe package + 25 (for state efile). Not sure if this is worth it considering that taxes can be done professionally for 100-150. It also took me several hours (it was my first time), and I struggled with questions that were not very clear to me
