Generally the section where you input wages and income is good, but the questions and required inputs dealing with farm income and a K-1 form are sometimes difficult to answer. Some of the Help answers on passive income, qualifying business income, intangible costs, and similar items could be improved.

TurboTax is dependable and consistent

While I'm over 65, navigating TurboTax is simple. I was even able to obtain LIVE help that was right on target and resolved my issue. I will be using TurboTax again for tax year 2022.

I have used Turbo Tax since it was a DOS program. Some years have been better than others. This year was very good. I do not give 5 stars ordinarily as there is always room for improvement.

There are still some areas that have not been simplified for the average person to understand. I don't believe I needed to file a return this year but Turbotax will never tell you this information, I assume it is set up this way so Turbotax always gets paid. Set it up so we can know this for a $5.00 fee and a simple printout that explains why for audits.
