Been using TurboTax for decades!

Been using TurboTax for decades! First to verify (double check professional tax preparers), actually caught errors from the pro's that ended up saving me money. For the last eight years as my only program, that does it all for us, at a fraction of the cost.

I am shocked

I am shocked to have discovered that, unlike in all previous years, Turbotax did not pull my refund account information forward into the state return. I have always opted to print out the state return and mail it in rather than pay $25 for electronic filing. I assume you would have pulled the information forward for electronic filing? I was never asked to complete this information separately for the state return. I am shocked by this oversight and am thankful that I caught it. ... This on top of the fact that I was unable to overcome the glitch disallowing editing of the state personal information worksheet (therefore not allowing me to differentiate between mailing address and primary residence) will have me considering other options next year.

Some Good, Some Not-So-Good

In general, pretty good with a couple of caveats...
1. Filling in the W2 information is PAINFUL! Leaving one box & clicking in the next box causes the app to lock up and spin for 60 to 90 seconds before letting you type in the next box.
2. During the review, you get strange errors. The errors have nothing to do with anything I put in and nothing that I saw during the process of completing the forms (via the "walk me through" interview). This happened in both the Federal and the DC returns.
The rest of the process worked fine.

The compatibility with my MAC WAS AN ISSUE. ONCE I WAS ABLE TO LOAD IT, IT WORKED FINE.

Long-time Turbo Tax User but had Install Issues.

We are long-time TurboTax Users and had installation issues for the 1st time. The install would just FAIL, spinning blue circle would just go poof. Very Frustrating...did research and found the "Create TEMP & TMP directories in the Root and redirect the System Environment Variables to the new C:\TEMP & C:\TMP directories, then attempt install"...it worked but WOW...what crap. What Happened Intuit?...Where can we send an invoice for our time?...can we get back to "download & install" PLEASE!
