I have used TurboTax for quite a few years. An easy way to do my own taxes. I have never had any trouble in completing my taxes and have never been faced with an audit.

Positions as being able to efile prior years, can't do it but still charges you full price. I'll be getting my money back.

What out for PIN requirements

If you need to provide an IRS PIN for security reasons, be aware that it is not obvious and there is no guidance on whether it is just you or you and your spouse who need to enter the 6 digit PIN at the beginning of your return. This is different from the 5 digit PIN you enter at the end. Getting yourself and your spouse verified through ID.me is a nightmare, especially if you are not super computer/selfie proficient like most elderly people.

Need Better Assistance for e-File Rejection

e-File rejection from the IRS (IND-031-04 - The primary taxpayer's previous year's (2020) AGI does not match IRS records). Have filed Married Filing Joint (MFJ) for years though last year we did not e-File (we mailed the return). When you file MJR the 1040 Form #11 AGI amount is a joint amount, so we entered that amount for both the primary taxpayer (Me) and the same amount for my spouse. IRS rejected it twice. Now I must mail the returns as I'm running out of time but when I print the forms it shows IRS rejecting the return and I already paid $50 fee ($25 for each state) for e-Filing. I definitely need phone assistance from TurboTax but unaware if I have to pay for that to. I've already paid $49 for TurboTax Deluxe, $45 to add a state, $50 for e-File that didn't work & $45 for Audit Defense - Total = $189.00. For $11.00 more we could have had my taxes done for us which includes audit protection.
