Turbotax fails

I have been using Turbotax for years and never had a problem being able to transfer my previous year's return. This year, even though the program said that last year's was transferred, none of my info was available. I had to tediously input all the info that should have transferred. Horrible :-(

2021 TurboTax was marginally satisfactory

I have been using TurboTax 20+ years and it has always preformed very well. The 2021 version seems to have a glitch in that it would not autosave my tax file. It continually popped up a message saying the file could not be saved because I did not have permission to save it, but I could be duplicate it. I had to duplicate my file twice and my grandson file once. After having paid for the state e-file, the program would not allow the tax file to be e-filed, the after several dozen attempts to transmit, it appeared to be transmitted. So far I have still been unable to transmit my grandson's tax file. Any suggestions. I used an Apple Mac computer with macOS Big Sur (version 11.6.5)

Cumbersome

TurboTax made finding the Bailey Retirement Deduction impossible to find when I went back to try and determine why I wasn't getting the BRD deduction on my N. C. taxes. The "Revisit" icon did not work! I had to call your customer service and a very nice young lady helped me by going in a round-about way. Wasted several hours trying to get back to the correct screen.

Turbo Tax calculated our refund with a Recovery Rebate Credit of $1,400 and the IRS came back and said our refund would be $1,400 lower because we were not eligible for the credit due to our income. Turbo Tax could easily see our income and adjusted the credit for this amount.
This has caused me a lot of research and time to determine exactly who was correct.

Found glitch in Turbotax

Turbotax added Form 8812 even though neither of the taxes that we filed even had dependents -- I had to remove the form in order to transmit the documents to IRS. For one set of documents, it cleared but then the forms were rejected -- so frustrating!
