Turbo Tax is Great!!

It is sooooo easy to use. Makes taxes fun (sort of). Been using turbo tax for 30 years never had a problem.

It could have been awesome except for the difficulty I encountered correcting an incorrectly entered 1099-I State ID number. The program flagged an error but did not clearly identify the culprit! I had to dig & dig to finally find the incorrectly entered State number ...and then to devise a way to change the form to the corrected number.
Uncommon in TurboTax but frustrating and time consuming. Should be an easy fix (link perhaps).

Too many Issues wrong

The error checker stated no errors, yet it was rejected by the IRS. Instead of the program taking me to the errors to fix, it gave me a paragraph to read, without links to forms. It was very aggravating. I also could not show a refund that was confiscated for taxes owed, so it put it in as income. Bad software this year.

TurboTax really is Awesome

The federal tax code has always been difficult for us to understand (poorly written, confusing language, way too voluminous, and some of the forms make no sense to us). This TurboTax program presents an easy path through worrisome and formerly confusing portions of our tax obligations. We enjoy a real sense of confidence because the TurboTax language simplifies a very complicated task. And, what used to take us a week, we can now finish in an afternoon. Sounds dumb, but we actually look forward to doing our taxes with this product.
