Turbo Tax is Very Helpful

I have you used Turbo Tax for over 30 years and found it extremely easy to use and very informative in understanding your taxes and your finance. I like to think of it as an educational program in understanding our money and where it goes, what it does and the tax ramifications of what we earn and spend.

Very disappointing

Way too much upselling going on in this program. Import of previous year's data from HR Block very incomplete. There is an error in the program that was not fixed in any of the updates - SS withholding for 2 people was correct on the W2's and calculations were verified to be correct, but program still insisted that the W@ was wrong and that we should ask employer for a revised W2. Additional state price for $45 is way out of line. I was extremely disappointed in this product and will not use TurboTax in future years.

TurboTax makes somewhat difficult task pretty easy

I've used TurboTax for at least ten years. It is quite easy to use and provides a lot of meaningful assistance. Definitely will use it again next year. I could pay an accountant $400 to do my taxes, with me spending all my time pulling together the documentation. Or, I could pay $40 or so for TurboTax and do it according to my schedule!

Mostly great, but e-filing needs work

Mostly great experience. Except when I got to the e-filing. The app (for the second year in a row) asked me for my AGI from last year. It pre-filled the field with our joint AGI. But then it wanted to know the AGI for my spouse, again pr-filled last year's joint AGI. Rejected submission by the IRS. Please fix this issue.

Overall the experience in using Turbo Tax was a good one. At times I had was a little unsure of what was being asked so having more info in the Learn More sections might be helpful. However in terms of receiving all entitled deductions when using the standard deductions I had questions. Taxpayers who take the standard deduction can claim a deduction of up to $300 for cash contributions to qualifying charities made in 2021. I entered my contributions which totalled over $300 but could not see the info on my final tax form. I don't know if I got it, but suspect not. Overall I decided it wasn't going to change my return that much so let it pass. I have a simple tax return but your program makes it harder than I think it has to be. I use it because soneone else in the family has a harder return for which it helps them.

This version was difficult to find information

This version was difficult to work with unlike previous years. Even saving it and printing was somewhat hard.
