Turbo Tax is great- but could be greater!!

As you go through the items to be worked on, the "Next" or "Continue" button is too far down on the screen. what should take me 10 minutes to do a return- takes 30 minutes doing mouse drills on my laptop------and set program to keep my cursor on the "continue" button so I can hit return and scream thru. Not the first year I mentioned this,,,,,guess no one cares

Efile transmit didn't work

Efile transmit on desktop version didn't work if you chose to transmit federal and Indiana at the same time. You had to deselect the Indiana return and indicate you would efile it later. That's the only way the federal return would transmit. Tried going back after federal return was accepted and program would not transmit Indiana.

major issues

watch out. there is a box on the forms view that if you have a sale reported on a K-1 also reported on a 1099, you don't report it on the k-1 side. Turbotax doesn't seem to know about this. Also can't handle several k-1 problems, and made me mail my 15 page 8949 on paper. Not good if you don't already know how to handle tax filing.

Lobbying efforts to limit IRS power are the only reason TurboTax exists. Purely for middleman profit extraction with no societal benefit.
