Turbo Tax Impressive

Program worked well, with one exception. Since the Standard Deduction was doubled & Local & State Taxes were limited to $10K, our return, which used to itemize, proceeds towards a foregone conclusion of using the Standard Deduction. Yet, I cannot bypass listing all my potential items for deduction, including 43 individual Charitable donations. Forced to go thru that rigorous & futile exercise extends the time for completing my Return by hours. Please, Turbo Tax Mavens, devise a quick test that could easily conclude that my Return is destined for the Standard Deduction & relieve me of this torture.

TurboTax gives step by step instructions - makes it easy. I like the feature that shows this year's amounts entered and last year's amounts to compare.

Not as good as it has been

i have used Turbo tax for several years and it has always worked like a dream, but this year it took me three times as long becasue of connecting to the update and efile servers. I had to keep restarting, resetting and repeating until it finally took. I might have to look elsewhere next year. I could have saved several hours of frustration if it had just connected as usual.
