Long Time User of TTAX

For most part, I give the software high marks, but would like the developers to consider some changes. First, stop downloading updates to state taxes until I download one. I have 2 states used in the past I do not use any more and TTAX keeps downloading updates to them. Also, it would be nice to transfer last years return info to the new year and KEEP the figures in last years. Many 1099-R's are the same from year to year.

Been using Turbo Tax for years... after getting all the necessary documentation required to hand off for professional tax prep service you might as well enter it yourself and save a couple hundred buck$.
*Gave 4 out of 5 for two reasons:
1. Search feature used to have a "Go To" function where it would take you directly to the spot on tax forms of the topic entered. Was very handy, If it does that now i could not find it.
2 Entering Series EE bond Face Value / Interest Earned is nearly impossible if you cash bonds in for education prior to full maturity... interest is NOT 50% and the wizard window will not accept your banks statement as input option. (If IRS throws me in jail over how i solved it I'm going to change this rating to a 1 :-)
Aside from those 2 items very satisfied.

Really simple and faster this year!

Streamlined, you know what applies to you and what doesn't. Saved me hours this year. Import function is awesome. From start to finish it took me about 3 hours where it would normally take me about 6 hours or more.

Turbo Tax Deluxe was so easy to use and we also have tips for next year! I wish I would have used Turbo Tax before now!
Just wish I knew ahead of time that E filing for Maryland was a $25 charge, I wouldn't have chosen that option.

I had a little problem with some questions (probably just a little nervous) not an expert on this but managed very well with the help of asking a family member that does Turbo Tax. The best part of Turbo Tax is that it guides me and informs me of mistakes and lets me know when all is A OK. It was a relief as not to take it to someone to do it and charge a ridiculous cost.
