Turbo Tax is a good guide to complete my taxes. Some questions are too detailed and made me uncomfortable like percentages of state bonds in a mutual fund (some funds have bonds from 40 states)

Turbo Tax is Good

OVerall Turbo Tax is great, but when it comes to the review things to check, what Turbo Tax shows is very difficult to find in what you've entered. For example I got an error that said form 8812b (a) needed to enter refunded taxes. I couldn't find that anywhere when I went back over my entries.
Pros: I moved, I bought or sold investments

Still have the annoying scrolling

Detailed but can't the screen return to the section you just completed when you are itemizing so you are close to the next section. HAVING CONINUALLY TO SCROLL DOWN TO WHERE YOU JUST LEFT OFF IS ANNOYING!!!!!

Disappointing quirks and math errors

Longtime user. But weird quirks popped up this year. Like, errors in the return due to my not responding to advance child tax credits (I have no dependent children). And the main summary page for deductions calculated 2020 and 2021 totals incorrectly.

Turbo Tax, You're the Best !!!

I use to dread the thought of doing my taxes until I started using turbotax. I've been a user of
this tax preparation since 2007. Every year it gets better and easier to prepare my taxes.

Turbo tax was difficult

Most of the time with Turbo Tax it is simple. But this year was a challenge. Everytime we were having to make a payment with our CC it wanted to save. So we did and then when we were signing back in it didn't accept our password. This became very annoying as we had to change it multiple times to get this completed. I am not sure what the issue is with it this year.
Also, the fee's are getting pretty crazy. They took away the free state which we had in previous years. I guess where I am at is that the individual is doing the work and you are requesting that we pay for????? Just really questioning if it is worth the trouble since all we are doing is the standard deduction.
