Too much advertising

Even though I purchased a physical copy (an actual CD for god's sake) of TurboTax Deluxe, the software still asked me FOUR TIMES if I wanted to upgrade to Premier. I've already purchased something, I shouldn't be subjected to more ads! I already paid you Intuit!! Ugh, disgusting.

TurboTax if simply a specialized calculator. It offers no additional assistance when it comes to interpreting the tax line items or if item apply to you.

TurboTax delivers a (mostly) un-frustrating experience for average folks. Could use a little improvement around 1099-DIVs, especially for the average investor that just happens to have gov't or foreign investments and dividends. Something that says "Hey, make sure you EDIT all of these" -- or maybe it could say "REVIEW / EDIT" and not let the user bypass the review if box 11 is filled? It'd also be super helpful if the name of the item you're updating appeared somewhere on all the edit screens. Both of those would've saved us all this year's headaches. We'll almost certainly come back next year. As confusing as taxes can be, TT has the software experience and we can't imagine that anyone else can be doing it better then these folks.
