Fine for federal taxes, not so good for California

Step-by-step for Federal was great.
Step-by-step for California had few steps. It would be nice to make it as fully developed as the step-by-step for Federal taxes.

TurboTax is good

I have been using TurboTax for years. This year, I couldn't get last year's return to upload into this year's return. This is a problem. This also made it difficult to find last year's AGI for filing verification. Also, There should be a separate button to either "print" and/or "save" returns.

Turbo Tax is a very good product

We've used Turbo Tax for many years and had very good luck with it. We've also used at least one competitor's product for one year and went right back to Turbo Tax the next year. We appreciate that Turbo Tax is easy to use and they keep their products up to date. Updates show up automatically for download once their product is installed and periodically thereafter until taxes are filed. Turbo Tax continues to improve each year. Help topics and information are helpful and reasonably easy to find. Links to additional help is provided for more in-depth/detailed assistance. There's still room for improvement. (I.e., such as providing a way to alphabetize charity organizations on the charity worksheet. It's unnecessarily time-consuming to scroll up and down through the list when adding additional donations to charities already listed, and during review.) Overall, we highly recommend it and plan to continue using it.

Would have given it 5 stars except the very annoying Schedule 8812 pop up that shows up over and over and over until we guess what you want from us. How about a little guidance next time?
