A disappointment this year

I have been using TurbTax for over 30 years and have been a big fan. This years handling of the K-3 issue was poor. TurboTax required you to fill in the info when it won't be available until 08/2022 and the Feds were not going to require it this year. I had to delete any reference to the K-3 to proceed. I also had issues with 199A income on a cople of my K-1 s where the program would not accept zero imcome I had to delete the category to be able to file.

The app is quite good and easy to use. I wish when it updates, which is often, it would tell you what has been updated. There's no way to know if the updates affect your return. If you file today and tomorrow there's another update, how will you know if it would have affected you?

Turbotax is good, but it could be much better

I've been using Turbotax for like 20 years. Generally it's good but there are still issues that need to be resolve to help out the user complete there taxes. For example, I get interest on muni bonds that are across the USA but I don't know what States. I import this data into TT, but on the error review, it always asked me enter in a State. And for multiple States, the Fed form states go to "help". I end up searching all over the web, turtbotax help, etc and I finally find the entry I need (XX). So this should be changed to help the user. Another confusing thing is at the end of the income section, it asked if you have had any dealings with cryptocurrency but it stops there. There should be a section on this as to enter buys/sells, etc . . .even if this is combined with other capital gain items. There are some yes explanation no explanation sections where one needs to answer no, but the explanation linked to it is actually contrary. Maybe there should be two no sections. Wish I could give you more on this, but in fact the explanation was illogical.
