the only tax program i will ever but. i am always surprised by how much easier it becomes with each year's release of income tax programs. i made a mistake entering the AGI and of course it was rejected by the irs. TurboTax assured me there here to help fix my error. i signed back into turbotax and there i was offerred option to file electronically at no charge or mail in if I am unable to fix my error. I selected help me fix it and it immediately starts searching and then stopped and I entered the correct amount and then I submitted it again. A awhile later the IRS accepted the tax return. This years program was the easiest by far.

We used the electronic downloaded version this year. Easy, peazy! Only challenge was locating the license code to get started but after that, it was easy!

First time using Turbo Tax

It was a bit scary using Turbo Tax this year instead of an accountant. But, I followed the step-by-step instructions, used by tax return forms from last year... and I did it! I just know, next year will be so much easier because TurboTax can use the information I used this year into next year's return.

Turbo Tax communicates poorly

The basic stuff, W2 and mortgage was fine. Finding out where to input the 1099s form for other than sale of home was extremely painful and time consuming. The main issue is when changes are made and I saved the file, I had to close out the program and reboot the computer to get turbo tax to see the changes. It was very handy to be able to file for taxes in a state of which I am not a resident though.
