Absolutely terrible

Total waste of my time. I wish I had filed directly with the IRS using their own forms. The system is not intuitive and causes errors. I don't understand how people without a background in tax navigate this system. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND.

can be awkward

There is a loop that I get into every year when I go to my state return. I can't explain it but it happens. A roundabout I can't get out.
TurboTax dialog windows even still treat me like I haven't e Filed my Federal, even though I did and was congratulated for such. Since I do my state days after filing my fed, I don't know if it is that which confuses the software. Still the software does the calcs and questions I would not be able to work through alone.

Confusing and not always automatic.

OK product. Like that it saves previous year. Some areas don't automatically prompt you to review. You have to be careful, or you might skip over some areas that give you credit. Confusing how it prompts you to fill in areas it deems as an error, yet they should have requested the information earlier. Confusing this year compared to the past several years. It seems like it is getting worse.

Nothing but problems

Would not let us e-file. Would not save the return. Would not let us print. We had to print a blank form 1040 and fill out manually. Charged our account for a state e-filing which we had to also do manually and sent US mail. we will have to fight this now with our bank and Turbo Tax. So disappointed.
