The program works well and provides Intuit money

Everything is great except for the graft that is required at the last moment in having to pay extra for filing my state tax. I would happily file the forms by paper and mail, but that only adds to the extra work for the state tax people.
Also, it would be nice to have the full request for drivers license information displayed initially so I don't have to make multiple trips to get more information.

Turbotax did ok after help

I have used turbotax for 4 years and this is the first year I had to get help because somehow the machine deleted a period on one statement but the same period was there on other pages. This made my income 160Million and tax owed 650K. Did not leave a feeling of confidence. With the helper looking at my screen I had to delete a 1099R and reinput it again to make this error go away. After that it worked great.

It was a little "buggy" this year

I normally love this product but this year there it was very slow and seemed to have bugs. For instance, when I would use the automatic transfer of a W2, the results would be blank. There was no way to correct it and on the next screen, it would add a blank W2 plus a W2 with the accurate information under the spouse's name that "needed review". It was weird like that throughout the program! Hopefully, these bugs will get fixed. I still highly recommend the product. It is normally very user friendly and walks you through everything. I've been using it for over 15 years!

I have used TurboTax for years. One reason I like it so much is that is easy to make corrections or to add additional information. All the calculations are done for you. Without TurboTax I would have to go to a tax specialist,
