i can safely say there's no way i could do this on my own. Every year tax reporting gets tougher, coupled with those monkey wrenches thrown in for extra measure (pulling my hair out, doesn't help!)... Thank goodness for TurboTax!

Turbo Tax has been my go-to ever since it was introduced. Always reliable, although on state information (Alabama), there are unclear instructions.

Turbo Tax has some issues

On the federal return, it said I had some errors and sent me to review a form for child credits. I filled out the info for filing joint return, me and my wife with no dependents, so why did it want me to correct a form for child credits. Then I wanted to efile federal and mail the state return, but there was no choice to select that option. I managed to get through the filing with some inconvenience. Please, make it better next year.
