NOT VERY USER FREINDLY IT IS NOT VERY EASY TO NAVIGATE ON SEVERAL LEVELS, H& R BLOCK TAX SOFTWARE IS MUCH EASIER TO NAVIGATE FROM TASK TO TASK AND OPEN / CLOSE FORMS AND GET TO PRINTING INDIVIDULE FORMSAND BACKING UP YOURRETURN.

Year After Year Turbotax is My Go To Program

I have been using TT for over 25 years for all my family's taxes. Several areas need more attention. First, some of the help forms and calculations, make me manually look at past years tax forms to answer questions or fill out worksheets. Since all previous years are available on the same computer, I would ask that TT fill in these blanks for me, or ask me to chose between possible figures. Secondly, the whole section on college expenses and Coverdell ESA income needs improvement. In some case there is no place to put room and board expenses, which is deductible where ESAs are used. I had to go to forms and manually input these expenses.

Disappointing

The program is easy to follow. But at the end, when filed electronically, it was rejected twice by both Federal and State. The same happened last year and I had to file by mail after paying fee for State electronic filing.
