I've used Turbo Tax for years. I always opt for the "Guide me through it" before I answer the questions, sometimes I think I could dispense with but I like the feeling that Turbo Tax has my back and keeps me from missing something. It is very thorough.

The federal and state were quite easy to do. The only problem if you mail in your state(mine in particular) there is not a lot of information. I had to go to the state website to get clarification on what forms to send in. It gave generic info, I was missing the instruction page after my state return which I had 1-5 but 6 gave the specific items needed to mail in.
