Confusing

If your retired, why not once you check that box have it programed to go to the SSA 1099 page? If you still work add the W2, I'm pretty sure the majority of retiaries are not working a paying job that requires a W2. And even if they are why make the rest of us go through the process of finding the SSA Page?
