Turbo Tax is Great

About 12 years ago I had an accountant do my taxes. When I got them back I thought no way, I was having to pay too much. I purchased Turbo Tax did my own taxes and saved myself about $250.00. Ive been using Turbo Tax every since.

TurboTax still outstanding!

I have used TurboTax to file my taxes for many years. Usually use Deluxe version, to file federal and state returns. Upgrade when needed to handle real estate sale and purchase, stock sale, etc. I like the Easy Step, but also being able to go directly to any forms.

I have never had such a bad experience in prior years trying to e-file. It is though someone hacked the Intuit website!

Turbo Tax seemed very hard to use this year.

many problems this year. Constantly going back to enter information that the program skipped over. Example: Listed my wife as single. Had no carryovers on capital gains or losses, but wanted that information on the following screen. After multiple attempts it finally moved on. Taxes this year has been a nightmare. I had 3 family members to help with taxes. Between the program, their schedule and mine we have been at this for 4 weeks. I've used Turbo Tax for 15 or more years, and never had this kind of problem before. Will try again and hope for better results.

Turbo Tax is basically easy to use. The process of going through entering the tax information is lengthy, but I feel confident with Turbo Tax guiding me through the process.
